Volkswagen Hands-Free Tailgate Wiring Harness / Kick-to-Open (Foot-Swipe) Harness

This is the wiring harness for the MQB hands-free tailgate opening module (not the antenna and not the sensor). The harness is made up of two sections:

Rear bumper section: Runs inside the rear bumper from the kick module to the rear body panel (before entering the cabin). Approx. 1 meter long.

In-body section: Runs from the rear body panel into the vehicle and up to the front keyless entry module. Approx. 6 meters long.

Made with German-standard automotive wire, wrapped with flame-retardant fabric tape. OEM-style quality and OEM-style connectors.

Please don’t ask whether this harness is “factory original.” Any standalone harness for a single accessory is not an OEM factory harness. Factory harnesses are pre-assembled as one complete loom that integrates all rear-end wiring—parking sensors, kick-to-open, blind-spot system, tail lights, camera, and more. There is no factory standalone harness for just one device
